The NASCAR Cup Series resumes the season with Sunday's Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway.

The series has been off since the July 21 race at Indianapolis won by Kyle Larson. The two-weekend Olympic break has given teams a rest before the final four regular season races and 10 playoff events.

Denny Hamlin is on the pole, looking to sweep the two Cup races at Richmond.
