Does LensCrafters still make glasses in one hour? ›

Do LensCrafters still do 1-hour glasses? The time it takes to prepare your glasses depends on your prescription, frame, model, and lenses. Some of our stores offer 1-hour or same-day glasses and come with onsite labs.

The time for your glasses to be ready would depend on factors such as the model, lens, frames, etc. While we offer same-day delivery in select locations, it can take 3-7 business days to deliver the glasses to your doorstep.

Consider Quality. While Costco is generally less expensive than LensCrafters, consider that higher pricing often accompanies higher quality. If you're at a stage in your life when your prescription is still changing, you might lean toward a cheaper pair of frames — you'll just have to replace them in a year, anyway.

FREE FITTING AND ADJUSTMENTS

Whenever you need an adjustment or cleaning, stop in at any one of our stores and say hello. It doesn't matter whether you bought your glasses online or at a different LensCrafters location, we're here to help with all of your vision needs.

While glasses retailers differ on whether or not they allow patrons to use their frames when replacing a scratched or otherwise worn-out set of lenses, LensCrafters does enable customers to bring in their frames with a few caveats. First, they must be in good shape.

In most cases, it will take between 7 and 14 days for a new set of prescription eyewear. This timeframe is also impacted by where you get your prescription filled. Brick-and-mortar vision stores typically deliver orders in one to two weeks.

You'll receive your vision prescription after your eye exam, and it will automatically update in the LensCrafters system as well. If you want, you can then work with a trained Frame Stylist to choose the frames that look and work best for you.

Ocular health is the foundation for clear vision, and our optometrist will also examine the inner eye tissues, as well the tissues around the eye for any abnormalities. If necessary, we may use dilating eye drops to obtain a sharper view.
